Join in a celebration of the two national parks that meet at the confluence: the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway (SCNSR) and the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area (MNRRA).

New superintendents have been appointed to manage these parks and will be present to meet community members and learn about our confluence area.

A brief program will be followed with refreshments and an opportunity to meet the superintendents. Please attend to celebrate these unique and important community assets.

• Meet the two new superintendents, Matthew Tucker Blythe of MNRRA and Craig Hansen of the St Croix National Scenic Riverway.

• Bring your families to meet a “real” National Park Ranger.

• Learn about these National Parks and their services/facilities/programs.

• Discover how the Parks close location impacts our cities and helps with tourism and economic development.

• Enjoy refreshments and talk with local elected leaders, naturalists, business folks, and other neighbors.
